    . New York: Warner Brothers, September 1970. Original 100 page shooting script that belonged to the film’s lead star, Jerry Orbach, who has boldly signed his name on the title page with his New York City home address and the name of his hotel in Toronto where the production was filmed. The script has annotations by Orbach and a pink daily production call sheet is laid in. A Fan Notes, was Orbach’s first starring feature film based on the cult book and was directed by Eric Till and in addition to Orbach stars Patricia Collins, Burgess Meredith, Rosemary Murphy, Conrad Bain  and Julia Robinson. Very good in somewhat worn and used Studio Duplicating Service red leatherette covers. Letter of provenance included. Enclosed in a custom clamshell box. Jerry Orbach (1935-2004) is best remembered for the seen everything New York City police detective, Lennie Briscoe, on the long running television series, Law & Order. However, he was originally a major Broadway star in shows like The Fantasticks, Promises, Promises, Chicago, 42nd Street, etc. Orbach became successful in films as well appearing in Prince of the City, Dirty Dancing, Woody Allen’s Crimes and Misdemeanors, Mr. Saturday Night, and voiced the role of the Candlestick in Walt Disney’s acclaimed animated feature, Beauty and the Beast. Greatly admired and beloved by his colleagues, Jerry Orbach has had a street in the Broadway area, and a New York City theater named in his honor.
