Here is an Extended Systems model #9924 infrared programmer adaptor that I purchased when I needed a backup to program my Motorola LS350, LS550, LS750, and BR850 digital numeric pagers for my business. Other numbers on this Jeteye include:

Since my local pager service was so responsive at handling reprogramming of my pagers, I never had to use it. It might have even allowed me to break pager pass codes if needed when reprogramming my pagers.

Using this adaptor, you can wirelessly transfer data and files from desktop and portable computers, cell phone, pagers, digital camera and PDA's equipped with infrared capability. This XTNDAccess IrDA Adaptor enables portable device users to transfer files back and forth from portable devices to a desktop PC without connecting cables. This RS232 infrared adaptor connects to your serial port to provide a standard IrDA port.
Any devices with a standard IrDA port can connect via this adaptor, for example:
On IrDA equipped cellular phones you can edit or transmit your phone book, calendar, ring tones or logos.
On some phones with available software you can even use your cell phone as a wireless modem.
On IrDA equipped digital cameras you can wirelessly transmit images to your computer
On IrDA equipped PDA's (beam port) you can wirelessly hotsync or transfer files (V cards, photos, etc.). This is a huge benefit if you are travelling and normally hotsync via a bulky cradle.
