FOR MERCURY / MARINER

AND FORCE / US MARINE
These keys are NOT blanks and are pre-cut based on a particular SERIES and NUMBER.  If you know which series AND number you need please include a note with your PayPal payment (they have a designated box), send us a message through eBay messenger.  If you know which series you need, but don't know which number it is please DO NOT place an order until you know both the SERIES and NUMBER.
If you lost your key and do not know what key number you need, you can look on the ignition switch to see if there are any numbers stamped on it.  If you cannot find any numbers stamped on the switch then you will have to replace the switch.  WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LOOK UP YOUR KEY NUMBER BASED ON A MOTOR MAKE/MODEL.  If you have questions please feel free to call us
This auction is for one ignition key for MERCURY/MARINER(USA Origin) AND FORCE
Outboard motors made from 1960 to 2010. They have used 4 different series of ignition
keys over the years. All of their original keys have a number stamped into the key for
easy identification. See chart and pictures below:
Each key series will have additional pictures and info below and these
will be shown from oldest to current. Keep scrolling down until you find your series.
Starting with the Old Mercury key set. This series had keys numbered from 101 thru 134.
The backside of these keys were stamped "Mercury". We have most of the keys from
101 thru 134 with following exceptions: NOTE: we do not have key # 102, 103, 105 and 113. Keys 123 thru 134 also have the following secondary numbers:
123 - A51015, 124 - B51015, 125 - A51045, 126 - B51046, 127 - A51095,
128 - B51095, 129 - C51015, 130 - D51015, 131 - C51045, 132 - D51045
133 - C51095, 134 - D51095
As many of these keys are no longer available we may run out of certain key numbers as time goes on.
Feel free to check availabilty if in doubt
If you do not have a key to supply us with a number then you may have to get
the number off  the ignition switch as seen below  showing KEY # 132 with #132 switch.
The Current Mercury/Mariner keys have an alpha-numeric number running from 1A thru 2F. The backside of the key is blank. Honda also used this same key series on their dash mounted ignition switches (not used in Honda Shift/Throttle control boxes).
The Force Letter Series keys were the most commonly used with Force control boxes and on MOST Bayliner and Bluefin/Spectrum boats. These came with just the letter A-E stamped on them on one side. The back of the key was blank.
The Force 77 Key Series were numbered between 55 and 67 on one side and the other side was stamped Pollak Boston USA. This was a common key used by many boat manufactures and also used in Johnson and Evinrude control boxes.
