If you have been an owner of a Burley recumbent bike you may have experienced the cracking of the seat sliders.  It is not fun to have that happen and the seat become unstable while you are riding. This a known Burley Issue.
There were thousands of Burley Recimbent bikes produced when they stopped making them in 2006.  They were great bikes, but new management decided to focus entirely on their bike trailer business.  Burley recumbent bikes are versatile easy to ride and there are many dedicated fans still today.
Unfortunately nobody has been making replacement seat sliders till now.
Over last few months I attacked this cracking seat slider issue and designed a very rugged 3D printed set.  They are rectangular and larger and made out of a rugged material called PETG, very much like the material that good bike water bottles are made out of.  These sliders are direct replacements for the original equipment ones.  They are not only stronger, but they grip the frame rails better holding seat adjustment better than originals.
I have a Burley Django that I tested for many miles with these new sliders.  I also enlisted a team of testers that I supplied sliders for testing.  It took a few revisions, but now I have produced Burley seat sliders that more than do the job far exceeding originals in Strength and grip.  Look at pictures  comparing original slider and new design.
Four sliders are included for complete replacement.
