SCARCE VINTAGE C. 1924-63 “MALING” NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE ENG. MUG HAND-ENAMEL-PAINTED 4 ¾”H EXCEPTIONALLY LUMINOUS FLOWERS bursting into seed.
Two large flowers on branches on one side (one larger flower beautifully shaded fuchsia bursting open into rounded, golden seeds as luscious as caviar eggs, other large flower sunny gold and toasty brown, both with luminous green leaves of multiple hues); on other side a large lavender flower also bursting into luscious golden seeds.
All enamel flowers painted in shallow channels against super, shaded COBALT glaze.
