1937-47 20 Francs from Madagascar. Banque de Madagascar. Pk 37 and serial number D.888 0443. Graded 40 Extremely Fine by PMG. A widely margined and boldly inked note from this former French colony that features an allegorical vignette of France and an African woman on the face. Yellow-brown. France and African woman with child at right. 3 Signature varieties. Man at left on the reverse side. A beautiful banknote with excellent eye appeal!
